On motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by <br /> l� Councilman Eva , the matter was referred to the Chief of Police to investigate . <br /> In connection with the discussion concerning the parking facilities along Broadway and adjacent <br /> streets near El Camino Real , the City Attorney , on motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded <br /> by Councilman McCarthy , was instructed to ascertain the frontage valuations of the Southern <br /> Pacific Company property. <br /> On motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the City Attorney was <br /> instructed to prepare an ordinance amending previous ordinance and extending the tax <br /> penalties as now existing , from December 5 , 1935 to December 5 , 1936. <br /> The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br /> The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Mayor <br /> Lambert . <br /> On motion of Councilman Jones , seconded by Mayor Lambert , the Council adjourned to meet again <br /> Monday evening , October IA , at 7: 30 p. m. iA <br /> E . <br /> City Clerk <br /> BEM: MR <br /> _� <br />
