17 ( <br /> at the entrance to Wellesley Park. Following the discussion concerning it , on motion <br /> of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Eva , it was decided to revoke the per- <br /> mission granted for placing the bear , and to ask the company to have it removed. <br /> Acting Chairman McCarthy read a letter which had been turned over to him from the Veterans <br /> of Foreign Wars asking that their organization be represented on the Citizens ' Ad- <br /> visory Board , and that they wished Don Sevier to be appointed. On motion of Councilman <br /> Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Eva , the communication was referred to the City <br /> Manager with instructions that he appoint Don Sevier on the Citizens ' Advisory Board <br /> as requested. <br /> Attention was called to the meeting at the San Carlos City Hall , Friday evening , January 24 , <br /> at g o ' clock for all Councilmen and private water operators for the purpose of starting <br /> the formation of a cooperative plan which mould lead to a definite solution for abundant <br /> and cheaper domestic water . <br /> The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Council- <br /> man Christensen. <br /> Adjournment . <br /> b . <br /> City Clerk <br /> BEM : MR <br />
