City, row TI E rFORE , BE IT RESOLVED , that Redwood City Post in regular meeting assembled on this night of October 26 , 1936 , does protest the action of both the Fire Department and the City Council and requests the Council to refuse the use of muni- cipally owned buildings to any but duly organized groups of Redwood City residents . Motion lost for want of a second. There was read a letter from the Greater South Redwood Improvement Club requesting that the City put up " Stop" signs on all streets leading into the Woodside Road. Capt . Murray of the Salvation Arm; appeared before the Council to a sk permission to make money solicitations in the City during the month of November. On motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Jones , permission was granted. There was read a letter from the First National Bank , Redwood City, asking if anything could be done toward payment of the 1915 Act Bonds rhich the bank held . There was read a letter from the Redwood City Planning Commission indicating proposed changes of set back lines between Whipple Avenue and. Hoskins Avenue on Arch , Birch , Clinton and other streets , and notifying the Council of a hearing to be held on November 17 concerning
