M. <br /> Upon roll call the following Councilmen were present : Councilmen L . C . Christensen, <br /> J. M. Eva , E . A . Fletcher , R . N . Jones , G . W. McNulty , Mayor Paul A. McCarthy , <br /> and City Clerk B . E . Myers ; absent , Councilman Wm. Hohn. <br /> On motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Eva , a permit was granted <br /> to the Club &odelo of Redwood City with the Italian Democratic Club to hold a <br /> dance at the Ft,resters Hall , on December 31 , to 1 A. M. , January 1 . <br /> Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Fletcher , proposed the adoption of resolution <br /> adopting budget and approving Memorandum of Agreement for Expenditure of 1/4 <br /> Cent Gas Tax Allocated for Streets of Major Importance and directing the City <br /> Manager to sign the agreement on behalf of said city. Unanimously carried. <br /> On motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Jones , the Council accepted the <br /> plans and specifications for the improvement of Valota Road as submitted by the <br /> City Engineer. <br /> On motion of Councilman Eva , seconded by Councilman McNulty , the meeting was ad- <br /> journed. <br /> ;0104 <br /> City Clerk <br /> BEM: HAS <br />
