M. <br /> Upon roll call , the following Councilmen were present : Mayor Paul A, McCarthy , L. C . Chris- <br /> tensen , J . M. Eva , E. A . Fletcher , Wm. Hahn , R. N. Jones , G. W. McNulty and City Clerk , <br /> B . E. Myers . <br /> Henry Witte appeared before the Council to explain the formation , in Redwood City , of an <br /> association of Redwood City Insurance Agents , and requested the Council that insurance <br /> business be put through this association . He also reminded the Council that there was <br /> in his office something like $150 of undistributed commissions . On motion of Councilman <br /> McNulty , seconded by Councilman Hohn , it was decided that the association attend to the <br /> distribution of these commissions . Mr . Witte also asked if the Council wished to take a <br /> half page ad in the Real Estate Magazine as had been done formerly. Because the Chamber <br /> of Commerce is taking care of publicity for the City , Mr . Witte was told to confer with <br /> Mr. Wyatt , of that organization. <br /> There was filed a letter from the Planning Commission , by Daniel Stafford , Secretary pro tem , <br /> recommending that the request of Harry Hoefler be granted. Therefore , on motion of <br /> Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman McNulty , Harry Hoefler was given permission <br /> to subdivide Lot 5 , Block 4 , Oak Knoll Manor , into three lots . <br /> Mrs. Chapman , of the Redwood Highlands Company , asked permission to divide Lot 2 , Block 5 , <br /> Oak Knoll Manor , into two lots . The request was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> Julius Smith addressed the Council suggesting that the reductions in salaries , made some- <br /> time ago , be restored. He said he did this because he was a member of the committee <br /> which requested the reductions. <br />
