On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher , the City Manager and
<br /> the City Treasurer were authorized to pay to special architect James H . Mitchell
<br /> that portion of his fee now due for the work completed to date .
<br /> There was read a letter from the local commander o ' the Disabled American Veterans ex-
<br /> plaining the plan of flag display supported by that organi:ation. Mr . Vilbur
<br /> LeGette was present and explained further . It was finally decided , on motion of
<br /> Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman McNulty , to give permit to this or-
<br /> ganization to solicit for the sale of the flag units .
<br /> Due to a possible misunderstanding on the part of the owners of the property , hearing
<br /> on proposed abatement of unsightly building at 2061 Broadway , was continued until
<br /> the next meeting , October 17, and the Clerk was instructed to
<br /> notirying them of the arrangement .

<br /> diem wages is based upon a work-
<br /> ing day of eight hours unless
<br /> otherwise specifically noted. The
<br /> hourly wage rate prescribed here-
<br /> inabove is the per diem rate di-
<br /> vided by the aforementioned num-
<br /> ber of hours constituting a work-
<br /> ing day.
<br /> All foremen shall receive $1.00
<br /> per day minimum above the high-
<br /> est paid Iaborer over whom they
<br /> have supervision.
<br /> For any craft not included in
<br /> list the minimum wage shall be
<br /> the general prevailing wage for
<br /> the locality and shall not be less
<br /> than $0.75 per hour.
<br /> Overtime for truck drivers at
<br /> time and one-half after seven
<br /> hours. Tractor drivers overtime
<br /> at time and one-half after six
<br /> hours.
<br /> All time shall be reckoned by
<br /> the half or full day, except over-
<br /> time, which shall be reckoned by
<br /> the hour or half-hour.

<br /> double the above hourly wage
