He indicated a willingness either <br /> to repair the building or have it torn down and asked permission to delay <br /> the matter until he could ascertain what the repairs would cost in order <br /> to decide what to do . In line with this request , the hearing on tri is <br /> soatement proceeding was continued on motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded <br /> by Councilman McNulty , to November 7 at 8 P . Y. <br /> Stanton Mullen , 548 Whipple Avenue , appeared to ask permission of the Council to <br /> continue construction of his new dwelling. He had been living in a large <br /> garage building as temporary structure. In the process of the new con- <br /> struction , it was discovered that the original building was too close to <br /> the easterly property line and the Building Inspector did not wish to give <br />
