<br /> Upon roll call the following were present : Councilmen H. F . Anderson , E. A. Fletcher ,
<br /> R. N. Jones , G. W. McNulty , Mayor L . C . Christensen and City Clerk B . E . Myers;
<br /> absent , Councilmen Wm. Hohn and P . A. McCarthy .
<br /> In consideration of a request from the Veterans of Foreign Wars , Post No . 2310 , they
<br /> were assured that it would be perfectly all right to allow the present Christmas
<br /> lighting decorations to remain in position for their celebration of January
<br /> 1939 .
<br /> The City Manager submitted the following letter:

<br /> Following his recommendation , Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Anderson,
<br /> proposed adoption of resolution awarding the contract to the Rucker-Fuller Company.
<br /> Carried.
