Anderson , <br /> E . A . Fletcher , I:n . Hohn , Robert N . Jones , Paul A. McCarthy , Geo . W . Mci;ulty , <br /> Mayor L . C . Christensen , and City Clerk B . E . Myers . <br /> The minutes of the meeting; of May 2 were approved on motion of Councilman McNulty , <br /> seconded by Councilman Fletcher . <br /> Frank DePatta requested permission to subdivide into 4 lots , Lots 3 and 4+ of Block 16 , <br /> Oak Knoll Manor , and also to divide a portion of Lot 1 of Block 16 , Oak Knoll <br /> Manor , according; to sketch submitted. The request having been approved by the <br /> Planning Commission , permission was granted on motion of Councilman Fletcher , <br /> seconded by Councilman Anderson , with the understanding that individual sewer <br /> laterals be constructed into each of the lots before any building permits be <br /> granted . <br /> J . B . Oswald wished to subdivide a portion of Lot 86 of Wellesley Park per sketch sub- <br /> mitted . As the request had been approved by the Planning Commission , permission to <br /> subdivide as shown on sketch was given on motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded <br /> by Councilman Anderson , with the understanding that the individual lots would have <br /> separate sewer laterals . <br /> Councilman McCarthy proposed the adoption of resolution endorsing a plan for the nresen- <br /> tation to the American Association of State Highway Officials an appropriate state- <br /> , <br /> ment of the reasons for the re-designation of El Camino Real and Bayshore ; seconded <br /> by Councilman Fletcher and carried . <br /> Ir connection with the report on the building at 936 Fulton Street , the Clerk read a <br /> letter from Mrs . J . H . Winter , the owner , indicating her intention to have this <br /> building painted and requesting that no steps be taken to have it conderne d and <br /> taken down. Her newrohew , Lisle Winter , also addressed the Council . The Councilmen <br /> decided to take a look at the structure before proceeding further . <br /> Reporting concerning the transfer of funds to the First National Bank and the American <br /> Trust Company , the Treasurer explained that the necessary collateral to protect <br /> these deposits had been put up by the respective banks in the custody of the <br /> Crocker First National Bank of San Francisco as trustee , and he desired the formal <br /> expression of approval of this arrangement by the Council . Accordingly , on motion <br /> of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman Anderson , the Treasurer was told <br /> that it would be satisfactory to the Council if collateral were received from the <br /> two banks mentioned and placed in the custody of the Crocker First National Bank <br /> with Proper receipts showing such bonds placed with the said trustee by the City 1 <br /> Treasurer and subject to his order . <br />
