Thompson , g17 Main , Billiard Parlor <br /> George Schoux , 2025 Broadway , Restaurant <br /> On motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman McCarthy , there was adopted resolution <br /> approving diagram of an assessment district under Resolution of Intention , No . 1937-3 , cov- <br /> ering work on Hillview Avenue . <br /> Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman Anderson , nroposed the introauction of ordinance pro- <br /> viding for the leasing of certain property at the Yacht Harbor . Carried. <br /> On motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman Fletcher , the City Attorney was asked <br /> to prepare some form of legislation si eplifying the procedure to be followed when the <br /> __ C = ty leases property. Carried. <br /> Councilman Fletcher and Anderson recommended , after seeing Mr . Bosshardt pt the Yacht Harbor , <br /> that he be allowed something like $10 a month for supplies. Councilman Jones , seconded <br /> by Councilman Hohn , moved that not more than $10 be taken from the Recreational Fund and <br /> used at the discretion of the City Manager. <br /> On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman And>rson , Councilman Jones and Cir <br /> Treasurer , B. E. Myers , were given permission to leave the state. <br /> The Clean Up Campaign Committee submitted a letter covering seven points : <br /> ( 1) It was requested that a report be furnished the committee of the action taken by the <br /> Council on previous recommendations of the committee . The Clerk was told to inform the <br /> committee . <br /> ( 2) It was recommended that a house at 306 Beech Street be condemned and proceedings <br /> started unless the place were repaired immediately. The Building Inspector was in- <br /> structed to investigate. <br /> ( 3) The City Manager indicated that the rubbish disnosal cans on downtown streets would <br /> be painted and repaired AS requested. <br /> ( 4) Request that removal broceedin_es be started against a. house at 20 Poplar Street met <br /> with approval , and the Attorney was asked , on motion of Councilman Anderson , seconded <br /> by Councilman Fletcher , to start the necessary proceedings. <br /> ( 5 ) In connection with the complaint about a stable at the corner of Beech Street and <br /> Middlefield Roar , the attorney was also instructed , on motion of Councilman Fletcher , <br /> seconded by Councilman McCarthy , to start the necessary proceedings. <br /> ( 6) The Health Officer was asked to investigate the alleged condition of crowding of a <br /> house on Poplar Street . <br /> ( 7 ) The Clerk was instructed to tell the co;:.r.ittee that the City would keen in mind the <br /> suggestion of beautifyinei city-owned property. <br /> On motion of Councilman Fletcher , seconded by Councilman McCarthy , the City Attorney was also <br /> instructed to start removal proceedings against n darn on Stambaugh Street . <br /> Consideration of the building at 936 Fulton Street was continued until the next meeting . <br />
