<br /> H . 7. Treichel , interested in the cleanimo: a.nd laundry property on Perry Street , asked
<br /> permission of the Council to complete the structure at the rear of the laundry
<br /> by using galvanized iron and also some wooden doors . Although only two sides
<br /> of the building would thus be constructed , the other sides being either concrete
<br /> or hollow tile , the request was denied on motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded
<br /> by Councilman Mcl`Tulty , after considerable discussion .
<br /> IT . J . Dunlap , a builder , requested permission to divide into 3 lots , as per sketch ,
<br /> Lot 11 in Block 1 of High School Acres , said request having already been approved
<br /> by the Planning Commission. Although Don F . Burrows made protest , it was decided ,
<br /> on motion of Councilman Anderson , seconded by Councilman Fletcher , to grant the
<br /> request .
<br /> After filing Affidavit of Publication of Ordinance No . 411 providing for the leasing
<br /> of certain property at the Yacht Harbor , Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Council-
<br /> man McNulty , proposed the adoption of Ordinance io . 411 . Carried.
<br /> Councilman Mci:ulty , seconded by Councilman Anderson , proposed adoption of the follow-
<br /> ing resolution . Carried.
<br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING PLAYS , PROFILES , DETAILED DRAWINGS ,
<br /> SPECIFICATIONS AND MAP OR PLAT OP PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
<br /> DISTRICT NO . 1938-4 .
<br /> "RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City , County of San
<br /> Mateo , State of California , that C . L . Dimmitt , City Engineer of
<br /> said City , be and he is hereby ordered to prepare plans , profiles ,
<br /> detailed drawings , specifications , map or plat of proposed assess-
<br /> ment district and estimates for doing the following work and mak-
<br /> ing the following work and making the following improvements in
<br /> said City of Redwood City , to-wit :
<br /> That Nevada Street be improved from the existing Pavement near
<br /> Brewster Avenue to the existing pavement near Hopkins Avenue , by
<br /> being graded for the entire width of said Street between said
<br /> points of existing pavement , and by having constructed on both
<br /> sides of said Nevada Street combined cement concrete curbs and
<br /> gutters and by constructing between said combined curbs and gutters
<br /> a 4-inch stabilized slurry base Pavement with a 1-inch asphaltic
<br /> armour coat wearing surface . "
<br /> Following adoption of resolution , the City Engineer submitted plans , profiles ,
<br /> and specifications for the work; whereupon Councilman Fletcher , seconded by
<br /> Councilman Anderson , proposed the following resolution . Carried.

<br /> MAP OR PLAT OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO . 1938- 4 .

<br /> Mateo , State of California , that the plans , profiles , detailed draw-
<br /> ings and specifications for doing the following work and making the
<br /> following improvements in the City of Redwood City , to-wit :
