M. <br /> Upon roll call the following Councilmen were present : Councilmen L . C . Christensen , <br /> J. M. Eva, E . A. Fletcher , Wm. Hohn , R. N . Jones , G. W. McNulty , Mayor Paul A. <br /> McCarthy , and City Clerk B . E . Myers . <br /> A letter from C . G. Uhlenberg , special city auditor commenting about city records and <br /> indicating quarterly check up to December 31 , 1937 , was ordered filed. <br /> A committee from the Fraternal Order of Eagles presented a resolution urging the Council <br /> to adopt a "Clean-Up in 1938 " campaign to insure Redwood City being "Bright , Spick, <br /> and Span" for visitors to the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition . On motion <br /> of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Fletcher , the committee was thanked for <br /> its interest and was assured of the cooperation of the Council in its efforts to <br /> clean up the city . 0 . Oleson and Paul Lowe spoke for the committee . <br /> H, F. Anderson , representing James Heath , asked the Council to remit penalty on delinquent <br /> taxes covering Portion of Block 3 , Hancock Addition , 62 . 6 x 257 . 6 being S. 62 . 6 ft . <br /> (Arb . 109/1 ) .
