On motion of Councilman Eva , seconded by Councilman Fletcher , it was decided to con- tribute $10 , and the Treasurer was so authorized , in favor of the El Camino Real Association which is trying to get the Highway Commission to eliminate the "Alternate " on the "101 !' signs and to place it , if anywhere , on the Bayshore Highway . Councilman Eva , seconded by Councilman Fletcher , proposed the adoption of resolution accenting an easement executed by Bernardo and Augusta Pinotti over , upon , and across certain described real property to be used in connection with the develop- ment of Valota Road . Carried . The hourly wage rate prescribed hereinabove is the per diem rate divided by the aforementioned number of hours constituting a working day. The above schedule of wage rates is the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work described above is to be performed . Rates for legal holidays and Sundays shall be double the rate herein- above described . Rates for over-time shall be one and one-half ( 11 ) times the rates hereinabove described. " Carried .
