BEM : MR MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 15 , 193 + Upon roll call , the following Councilmen were present : Mayor , W . J. Dusel , H. A. Seeger, C . J. Hildebrant , It N. Jones , C. G. Lambert , Paul A. McCarthy, Geo . W . McNulty. City Clerk, B . E. Myers . Absent : None. The minutes of the meeting of January 2 were approved on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Counci)marz Seeger. On motion of Councilman Beeger , seconded by Councilman Lambert , the Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to execute a "Cultivation Lease" with the Southern Pacific Company for a small strip of its property along El Camino Real . Mr. Theron J. Seitz , representing the Knights of Phythias , appeared to ask the Council for permission to erect a sign near the corner of Whipple Avenue and El Camino Real on the property of Mr. How. On motion of Councilman Beeger , seconded by Councilman Jones , per- mission was granted. On motion of Councilman Hildebrant , seconded by Councilman McNulty, and unanimously carried, resolutions were adapted accepting Easements executed by the following: A. W . and Mary A. Pike Dora L. Floyd Lenolt Securities Corporation and Mary Humann Bertha gagarty E. and Elizabeth Vittori On motion of Councilman Jones , seconded by Councilman Hildebrant , resolution was adopted accepting Deed from Floyd L. Baird and Grace M. Baird, his wife. On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Hildebrant , resolution was adopted accepting a Deed made by Carl and Margaret Muller , Daniel P and Helena Flynn and Henry D. McGarvey. On motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilmen McNulty, the City Manager , on behalf of the City of Redwood City , was authorized to execute an assignment in favor of Eugenie and Alfred Ruellan of the city ( s rights or claims against the Public Indemnity Company and/or the International Re—Insurance Corporation by reason of an accident on February 26 , 1933 .
