Following up the preliminary discussion concerning a park area in part of the Sequoia Union High School grounds , a letter was received from J. D. Hedge , President of the Board of Trustees , inclosing a Resolution passed by that Board giving to the City permission to use as a park a certain part of the school grounds facing E1 Camino Real shown on a map, also inclosed. Upon motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman Hildebrant , the permission to use this land was accepted by the Council and the Clerk requested to notify the School Board to that effect . Upon motion of Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Conncilmanmaulty, the Council went on record as endorsing the proposal to effect a harbor district in San Mateo County and urging the voters of the County to approve the measure at the election. Upon motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant , the City Attorney and Councilman Beeger were given permission to leave the state. The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Hildebrant . w 7 City Clerk'
