The City Manager reported about a sign for Main Street and the Bayshore Highway and also <br /> about the Leonard & Holt sign across El Camino Real at Jefferson Avenue . He indicated <br /> that he could have the sign repaired and maintained for a charge of $10 . 00 a month and <br /> - was informally instructed to do so . <br /> On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Beeger an "On—Sale " beverage license <br /> was granted to Tony Mariani of 1703 El Camino Real . <br /> On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Lambert , tax ordinance fixing the <br /> amount of money to be raised during the year 193334 to carry on the various departments <br /> of the city , together with bonded indebtedness , was formally introduced . <br /> Councilman Beeger reported concerning his interview with Mrs . Baughn regarding the collection <br /> of second hand clothing, pepers , etc . <br /> Mayor Dusel suggested that it would be advisable to set up a sign forbidding a U—turn at <br /> California Street and Broadway , coming out of California Street . <br /> J . N . Taylor and his wife , Fannie Taylor , made formal request to the Council requesting that <br /> the street paving assessments on Lot 17 , Block 3 , Oak Knoll Manor , under Resolution of <br /> Intention F-7 , be divided according to apportionments outlined in their petition . On <br /> motion of Councilman Beeger , seconded by Councilman Lambert , the Engineer was instructed <br /> to prepare the separation of the assessments on the records and the Clerk instructed to <br /> see that the necessary publication was made . <br /> On motion of Councilman McNulty , seconded by Councilman Beeger , the approved claims were <br /> ordered paid . <br /> Adjournment . <br /> City Clerk <br /> .J '�p <br /> M ; Mil <br />
