the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City and certain <br /> isolated territory adjacent thereto ; and <br /> WHEREAS , thereafter and on the 14th day of October , <br /> 1935 , an application for leave to amend said petition was duly <br /> filed before said Railroad Commission and an order amending <br /> the petition was issued by said Commission on or about October <br /> 21 , 1935 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , after proceedings duly had and taken before <br /> said Railroad Commission of the State of California , said Rail- <br /> road Commission did on or about the 9th day of August , 1937 , <br /> make and file its written finding and decision fixing the just <br /> compensation for the properties of said Pacific Gas and Electric <br /> Company, as more particularly set forth in the proceedings <br /> of said Railroad Commission (Decision No . 30033 ) ; and <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS , The Council of the City of Redwood City , by <br /> resolution passed and adopted at an adjourned regular meeting <br /> of said Council on the 27th day of September , 1937 , by vote <br /> of more than two-thirds of the members of said Council , did <br /> determine that the public interest and necessity demand the <br /> acquisition by eminent domain proceedings or otherwise of the <br /> municipal improvement hereinafter referred to and designated <br /> as " Proposition No . 1 , " and did further determine that the cost <br /> of said proposed municipal improvement is and will be too great <br /> to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of <br /> said municipality , which resolution was duly entered on the <br /> minutes of said meeting of said Council and is now on file and <br /> of record in the City Clerk ' s office of said City ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Redwood City , by <br /> resolution passed and adopted at said adjourned regular meeting <br /> of said Council on the 27th day of September , 1937 , by vote <br /> of more than two -thirds of the members of said Council , did <br /> -2- <br />
