r be held before said Council on Monday the 18th day of November , 1935 , at the hour of 8 : 00 o ' clock p . m . for the purpose of permitting all persons directly interested and the general public to be heard upon said proposed reclassifying or rezoning of said lot herein mentioned , a notice of said public hearing was duly and regularly published as required by said Ordinance No . 251 of the City of Redwood City in the Redwood City Tribune , a daily newspaper of general circulation , pub- lished in said City of Redwood City not less than three ( 3) times and within the week that said hearing was to be held ; and WHEREAS , said Council of the City of Redwood City did proceed with said hearing as provided in said notice and did give all persons particularly interested and the general public an opportunity to be heard with reference to the reclassifying or rezoning of said lot hereinbefore herein described and said Council of the City of Redwood City having fully considered said matter , NOW, THEREFORE , the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby ordain as follows , to-wit : Lot number 8 in Block 2 as shown on that certain map entitled "Resubdivision of a portion of blocks 1 and 2 Subdivision A Wellesley Park" of record in the Recorder ' s office of the County of San Mateo, State of California , is hereby reclassified or rezoned from the first residential district in which said property is now zoned to the second residential district as provided in Ordinance No . 251 of said City of Redwood City . AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Engineer is hereby directed to change the official use of property zone map in conformity with this ordinance . Section 2 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after thirty ( 30) days after its passage and adoption . 2
