in the application for such permit or if such person violates any law <br /> of the State of California or ordinance of the City of Redwood City . <br /> Section 5 . Any person violating any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br /> thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding three hundred dollars <br /> ( 300) or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of San <br /> Mateo , State of California , not exceeding ninety ( 90) days , or by both <br /> such fine and imprisonment , and each day upon which a violation of <br /> this ordinance continues shall be deemed a separate offense hereunder <br /> and punishable as such . <br /> Section 6 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> with this ordinance are hereby repealed . <br /> Section 7 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br /> from and after thirty ( 30) days after its passage and adoption . <br /> Section 8 . The above and foregoing ordinance was duly intro- <br /> duced on theli ,day of March , 1936 , and after a public <br /> hearing held on the 6th day of April , 1936 , at the hour of <br /> 8 : 00 oTclock p . m . of said day was duly passed and adopted by the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held <br /> on said 6th day of April , 1936 , by the following vote : <br /> Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing ordinance , <br /> Councilmen L .
