••,. ,. <br /> D <br /> t 1 <br /> 5 . The length of time such permit is desired ; and <br /> 6 . Such other information as the Police Department may desire . <br /> The Police Department is hereby authorized to make any person <br /> applying for a permit under this ordinance display or show proper <br /> credentials when representing another person, corporation or institution <br /> other than himself or herself and may also take the finger prints of <br /> applicants if desired by the Police Department , and may delay the <br /> granting of such permits for a period not exceeding one ( 1) week within <br /> which to give said Police Department an opportunity to check the in- <br /> formation supplied by applicants , as well as the applicants themselves . <br /> If , after such investigation, the Police Department should deem it ad - <br /> visable , they may refuse to grant a permit under this ordinance . Any <br /> applicant desiring to appeal from the action of the Police Department <br /> in denying a permit under this ordinance may do so by appearing in <br /> person at the next Council meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City and renewing before said Council the application heretofore made <br /> to the Police Department . All persons so appealing shall notify the <br /> Police Department of their intentions so to do to give the Police <br /> Department an opportunity to be heard by the Council at the time the <br /> applicant urges his appeal from the Police Department ruling . <br /> Section 2 . It is also declared unlawful for any person holding <br /> a permit under this ordinance to refuse to show or display said permit <br /> when requested so to do by any person approached by the person holding <br /> such permit or by any officer . of the City of Redwood City . <br /> The permits issued under this ordinance shall be issued for a' <br /> period of not less than two ( 2) days and not longer than six ( 6) months <br /> and each permit shall specify upon its face the expiration date thereof . <br /> Section 3 . Permits issued under this ordinance are not transfer - <br /> able and only authorize the particular person to whom the same is <br /> issued to act thereunder . <br /> Section 4 . All permits issued under this ordinance may be <br /> revoked if the person receiving the same has made any false statement <br /> 2 <br />
