ANALYSIS
MuniServices and Donald H. Maynor provide professional services related to
compliance, administrative, and protection services, that will allow the City to preserve,
protect and enhance their UUT revenues. The recommended amendments will extend
the MuniServices Agreement and the Maynor Agreement through December 31, 2016.
The amendment to the MuniServices Agreement will establish that the City will pay
MuniServices $16,726.04 for the period between July 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016
and will increase the maximum amount payable under the contract to $77,000. The
amendment to the Maynor Agreement will establish that the City will pay Donald H.
Maynor $9,006.32 for the period between July 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.

ALTERNATIVES
The Council could elect not to approve the recommended amendments.

FISCAL IMPACT
The amendment would increase the amount payable under the two agreements by
$25,732.36 total. Sufficient funds are available in the 2016-17 budget to cover this
increase.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, Section
15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or a reasonably
foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.

JUN NGUYEN
REVENUE SERVICES MANAGER

KIMBRA MCCARTHY
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

MELISSA STEVENSON DIAZ
CITY MANAGER
6.1.O. - Page 2
