Having already determined in 2015 that the District Expansion had merit, the Planning <br />Commission formally considered the HRAC’s recommendation and the proposed Main <br />Street Historic District Expansion and landmark designations at their regular meeting of <br />June 21, 2016. The Planning Commission voted 6-0 (Commissioner Hale absent) to: a) <br />Recommend adoption of the Main Street Historic District Expansion, and b) <br />Recommend designating the properties at 847-849 Main Street, 935 Main Street, and <br />1101 Main Street as historic landmarks. <br /> <br />Figure 1: Proposed Main Street Historic District Expansion <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7.B. - Page 3
