The Contractor shall also email a pdf version of their Bid to: <br /> tbraun@redwoodcity.org or include a CD/USB drive containing the pdf version with <br /> their sealed Bid. <br /> 5.3. Withdrawal of Bids <br /> A Contractor may withdraw its Bid at any time before the NIB Submittal Deadline by <br /> delivering a written request for withdrawal signed by, or on behalf of, the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 5.4. Rights of the City of Redwood City <br /> This NIB does not commit the City to enter into a contract, nor does it obligate the <br /> City to pay for any costs incurred in preparation and submission of Bids or in <br /> anticipation of a contract. The City reserves the right to: <br /> • Make the selection based on its sole discretion; <br /> • Reject any and all Bids; <br /> • Issue subsequent NIB's; <br /> • Postpone contract start date for its own convenience; <br /> • Remedy technical errors in the NIB process; <br /> • Approve or disapprove the use of particular sub-contractors; <br /> • Negotiate with any, all or none of the Contractors; <br /> • Accept other than the lowest offer; <br /> • Cancel the NIB and reject any and all Bids in whole or in part when it is in the <br /> best interest of the City; <br /> • Waive informalities and irregularities in the Bids; <br /> • Enter into an agreement with another Contractor in the event the originally <br /> selected Contractor defaults or fails to execute an agreement with the City <br /> and or <br /> � Enter into an agreement with multiple Contractors' for different portions of <br /> work as outlined in Attachment 8 (Scope of Services). <br /> An agreement shall not be binding or valid with the City unless and unti! it is <br /> executed by authorized representatives of the City and of the Contractor. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION """" <br /> Uniform Rental/Laundry Services Page 4 <br />
