Marking, City Embiems, Name Patches: <br /> Contractor shall mark or label each uniform ciearly but, inconspicuously,to permit <br /> identification of uniform by each employee. <br /> The Contractor shall furnish and apply on City emblems/togos, provided by and shall be <br /> placed on every shirt and jacket. Design of the labels and City emblem must receive prior <br /> approval by City's Project Manager and/or representative before initial issue. <br /> Pick-up/Delivery: <br /> Contractor is responsible for plck-up and delivery of all rented standard issue uniform <br /> items. Contractor shall supply hanger racks and soiled laundry container(sj to City. <br /> Contractor shall pick up soiled uniforms once a week from various departments/divisions and <br /> deliver on hangers to the same location within one week.Contractor shall replace uniforms <br /> not properly washed and finished within two (2) working days. Contractor shall complete an <br /> itemized list of the rented standard issue uniform items and quantity being picked up for <br /> laundering. Contractor shall submit a copy of the itemized list to the unit for <br /> reconciliation when the clean uniforms are returned.Contractor shall correct any discrepancy <br /> within 24 hours. <br /> Every six months,inventory must be taken by Division Program Administrator and Contractor <br /> of uniforms issued to each individual employee.This date will be reconciled with inventory <br /> data from Contractor for verification of number of uniforms issued and on hand. <br /> Damaged/Repair/Replacement Items: <br /> Damaged Uniforms are covered in the weekly cost of the program with Uniform <br /> Advantage. Every six months,Contactor and Redwood City will review the uniform advantage <br /> program to make sure this option works for both parties. At this time, either party can <br /> discontinue the service if selected. If uniform advantage is removed, Redwood City would <br /> have to pay the reduced replacement values for any damaged garments. <br /> The City and Contractor shall specify the conditions under which a uniform is considered <br /> damaged and/or is the need of repair or needs to be replaced.Wear&Tear period shall be <br /> determined by End User and Contractor at all items. <br /> Replacement uniform pieces shall be new or slightly used replacement garments though <br /> U.S. Communities Program,that meet the City image requirements. Turnaround time for <br /> new or repiacement of uniforms shall be 1- 2 weeks. Mending and repairs turnaround time <br /> shall be 1-2 weeks. <br /> Lost Items: <br /> The City shall pay the pro-rated replacement value listed on the bid form for any missing <br /> uniforms at the time when an employee is stopped. <br /> Environmental Performance: <br /> In addition,the Contractor agrees that: <br /> PUBL[C WORKS DIVISION <br /> Uniform Renral/Laundry Servlces Page 15 <br />
