1 . Ground Survey: Perform topographic survey to include all physical features <br /> within the attached project area limits and project scope listed below, as also <br /> including any grade breaks or man made improvements not listed: <br /> a. Sanitary sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe <br /> diameters, sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts and sanitary sewer (main and <br /> lateral) lines. Locate and determine exact locations of existing sanitary <br /> sewer lateral cleanouts as much as possible. <br /> b. Storm drain or storm sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at <br /> manhole, pipe diameters, drain inlets bottom , drain inlets pipe inverts, <br /> catch basin grate elevations and storm drain lines. <br /> c. Water valve boxes, meter boxes, anode boxes, fire hydrants and water <br /> (main and service) lines. Remove valve covers and measure the distance <br /> to the top of the valve nuts. <br /> d. Gas valve boxes and gas (service and main) lines. <br /> e. Traffic signal boxes, street light boxes, utility vaults, electrical poles, loop <br /> detectors, traffic sign posts, street lights, and electrical lines. <br /> f. Cable TV boxes, Cable TV lines, telephone poles, telephone lines and <br /> overhead (service and main) lines. <br /> g. Fiber optics communication lines. <br /> h. Street monuments. <br /> i. Tax assessors' lot lines, property line or lot boundaries, right-of-way lines <br /> and house addresses (approximate from City Block Books and County <br /> Recorder/Maps office). <br /> j. Curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways and wheelchair ramps within the <br /> right of way with minimum diameter 6-inches at breast height and street <br /> facing fences within the right of way. <br /> k. Trees within the planting strip and fences. <br /> 2. The Consultant shall prepare topographic base map in AUTOCAD 2004 version <br /> or current City's AUTOCAD version at a scale of 1 "=20' . Text information and <br /> other entities shall be readable at this scale when plotted on a plan and profile <br /> sheet. Final plotted text height shall be 0. 1 ". <br /> 3. The Consultant shall use the City's standard legend for drafting annotations. <br /> 4. The Consultant shall set the center line of street at every 50 feet on tangent and <br /> 25 feet stations on curves. Survey station shall be at the center of the street at <br /> 50 feet intervals 50 feet intervals, 25 feet intervals on curves, beginning at <br /> centerline of street intersections or manholes (see attached location map, if <br /> applicable). Indicate the following items: spot elevations at each 50 foot station , <br /> center line, lip of gutter or edge of pavement, face of curb at flow line, back of <br /> curb, sidewalk, planting strip or landscape area and right-of-way line or property <br /> line. <br /> 5.
