BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />10. Water Appeals Board - appointment of three applicants to terms extending <br />throughout the duration of the drought: Patricia A. Dixon, Steve Howard and <br />Barbara Mariani. (302 -20) <br />Report: City Clerk, August 1, 1990 <br />M/S Bury /Murray to appoint Patricia A. Dixon, Dr. Steve Howard and Barbara <br />Mariani to the Water Appeals Board to terms extending throughout the drought <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -114 <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />11. City Center Revitalization Committee - appointment of two Council Members <br />(302 -01) <br />Report: Planning Director, August 13, 1990 <br />City Manager Smith advised this committee will deal with publicly owned land <br />in the Civic Center area and expansion and renovation of civic center uses <br />and will be a nine month effort resulting in a Master Plan. <br />Councilman Greenalch suggested two citizens at large also have membership on <br />the committee along with two City Council members, two Planning <br />Commissioners and staff from the Community Development Department. <br />Nita Spangler, 970 Edgewood, Redwood City asked if this project had already <br />been planned, and requested the public be represented on the board and <br />invited to the meetings. <br />City Manager Smith explained the purpose of this in -house committee was to <br />research and develop the technical aspects regarding the civic center and to <br />develop a footprint for use as a tool in future decisions. <br />Council Members Buchan and Murray volunteered to serve on this committee if <br />the meeting times would be flexible and accommodate their working schedules <br />to provide for maximum attendance, and advised that public input would be a <br />high priority. <br />M /S: Bury / Greenalch to appoint Council Members Buchan and Murray to the City <br />Center Revitalization Committee <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -115 <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 50 <br />Page No. 042 <br />Minutes <br />August 13, 1990 <br />Page 8 <br />
