First Time Homebuyer Program - continued from November 5, 1990 (203 -04, <br />(702 -02) <br />Report: Community Development Director, December 4, 1990 <br />Housing Coordinator Jones - Thomas presented the staff report and described <br />the agreement with developer Tom Curran to give the City the first right of <br />purchase of 8 units for first time homebuyers, and the agreement with Mid <br />Peninsula Housing Management Corporation for marketing and advertising. <br />In response to Council questions Mrs. Jones - Thomas described affordable <br />housing program in the County and other government housing programs that <br />allow their employees to participate, and the advantages to the City of <br />allowing Redwood City employees to qualify for this program. Mrs. Jones - <br />Thomas advised the Housing Department has 9 qualified applicants at this <br />time and that resale restrictions are part of the program. <br />a. Title read.
