copy <br /> Whereas, the 45 day public review period on the SEIR closed at 5:00 PM on <br /> July 28, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 12, 2015, the Port of Redwood City sent a Notice of <br /> Preparation ("NOP") to governmental agencies and organizations and persons interested in <br /> the proposed project to solicit input and to identify any concerns or issues that should be <br /> included in the SEIR; and <br /> WHEREAS, the NOP was circulated for 30 days, with the review period closing <br /> on September 15, 2015; and <br /> WHEREAS, the NOP requested that agencies with regulatory authority over any <br /> aspect of the project describe that authority and identify the relevant environmental <br /> issues that should be addressed in the SEIR and interested members of the public also <br /> were invited to comment; and <br /> WHEREAS, comments were received and reviewed by Port staff and Port's <br /> consultants and written response to comments were prepared; and <br /> Whereas, the SEIR together with the Response to Comments constitute the Final <br /> SEIR ("Final SEIR") for the proposed project; and <br /> Whereas, the Final SEIR consists of the SEIR, comments and recommendations <br /> received on the SEIR either verbatim or in a summary, a list of persons, organizations and <br /> public agencies commenting on the SEIR, the responses of the Port to significant <br /> environmental points raised in review and consultation process and an their information <br /> added by the Port; and <br /> sharedtPort\Reso 3 RESO P-2324 <br /> DS <br /> 09/14/16 t <br /> Steat <br />
