COPY <br /> WHEREAS, Port Commissioners desire to acknowledge consideration of the <br /> Final SEIR and comments and revisions thereto for purposes of compliance with CEQA <br /> and the State CEQA Guidelines. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . This Board hereby finds and determines that the foregoing recitals are true <br /> statements of fact. <br /> 2. Having reviewed and considered the Final SEIR and other factual and legal <br /> opinions necessary for the evaluation thereof, this Board hereby finds that the Project may <br /> have a significant effect on the environment, that some of the potential significant effects <br /> shall be mitigated or avoided by the changes or alterations which have been required in, <br /> or incorporated into, the Project; that some changes or alterations are • within the <br /> responsibility and jurisdiction of another public agency or other public agencies, and can, <br /> or should be, adopted by said agency or agencies; and that some significant effects upon <br /> the environment cannot be mitigated, as hereinafter set forth. <br /> 3. The General Plan designation for the site is Heavy Industrial Use <br /> (Manufacturing, Processing, and Shipping). The General Plan defines Heavy Industrial as <br /> "land to be developed for manufacturing, processing, and shipping, where truck and rail <br /> traffic is necessary and outdoor storage can be expected."
