8.B. - Page 4 <br /> Input <br /> Staff is looking for input from the City Council to ensure that the proposed scope of work <br /> meets their goals for the citywide transportation plan, this could include feedback on: <br /> • Interest in having the Council Communications Committee provide direction on <br /> the community outreach process, and/or other specific outreach strategies. <br /> • Interest in having and/or membership on a policy advisory group (e.g. could have <br /> members from the City Council, Planning Commission, Complete Streets <br /> Advisory Committee, and Senior Affairs Commission). <br /> • Priorities or details within the identified tasks <br /> • Activities that should be included, but were not, or vice versa <br /> Staff will use the City Council's guidance to complete negotiations with Fehr & Peers on <br /> the scope, schedule, and budget and return to the City Council on November 7, 2016 <br /> (tentative date) for approval of a professional services contract. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Council may decide not to pursue completion of the citywide transportation plan. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with providing feedback on the contract scope. If <br /> and when a final scope of work is negotiated, it will return to the City Council for <br /> approval.
