(Minimum delivery, 500 gallons, <br /> estimated deliveries per year, 20) <br /> One (1) 4,000 gallon Gasoline tank located at the Bus Yard, 85 Churchill Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94306. <br /> Annual estimated consumption: 40,000 Gallons of Unleaded 87 octane. (Minimum delivery, 1,000 <br /> gallons, estimated deliveries per year, 20) <br /> All tanks meet OSHA permitting requirements. <br /> Typically, deliveries can be made with body load trucks or truck trailer combinations. BIDDERS <br /> NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE PHYSICAL SURROUNDINGS OF ANY LOCATION ARE <br /> STRONGLY ADVISED TO PERSONALLY VIEW THE LOCATION PRIOR TO BIDDING. Lack <br /> of familiarity with a delivery location will in no way relieve the Contractor from his responsibility to <br /> fulfill a contract in full accordance with the terms and conditions of this bid. <br /> QUANTITY <br /> The total quantities shown in the bid are approximate and are to be used for bid evaluation purposes <br /> only. The total quantity that may be ordered as a result of this bid is not guaranteed. Climatic <br /> conditions and other factors affecting consumption of fuel will determine the actual amount used. <br /> The District will not be obligated or required to purchase any of the contractor's surplus inventories <br /> resulting from the expiration of the contract. <br /> MINIMUM ORDER <br /> Requests for delivery shall state which tank(s) are to be filled at each location. Less than minimum <br /> deliveries (500 gallons Diesel or 1,000 gallons Unleaded per tank)may be made when agreed to by <br /> both the Contractor and the using location(i.e. "keep tanks full" deliveries). <br /> REGULAR DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS <br /> All requests for delivery are to be completed in within 24-hours of the receipt of order by the <br /> Contractor. If Contractor is unable to deliver on time with the 24-hour period of time, Contractor <br /> agrees to reimburse PAUSD for any difference in profit margin over OPIS another contractor may <br /> invoice. <br /> The Contractor shall not be responsible for fuel run-outs caused by the District's equipment failure or <br /> the District's failure to allow a 24-hour window of time for the delivery to be made. <br /> EMERGENCY FUELING REQUIREMENTS <br /> Deliveries requested outside the regular working hours and days shall be considered an emergency. <br /> Additional charge for delivery shall be $ (bidder to complete).
