EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Scope Adjustments That Require Budget Increases Consultant shall direct its sub consultant, Hexagon Transportation Consultants, to complete the tasks set forth below: 1. Revise Trip Generation: Based on the new project description, Hexagon will revise the trip generation estimates to reflect the reduction in building square footage and the addition of a new daycare facility. 2. Revise Trip Distribution and Assignment: The directional distribution of site - generated traffic will be re -forecast based on the existing travel patterns in the vicinity and the locations of complementary land uses. Updated site -generated traffic will be added to the roadway network based on the estimated trip distribution pattern. 3. Data Collection: New intersection turning movement counts (seven intersections) will be conducted during the AM and PM peak hours for those study intersections. Also, new weekday and weekend counts, not included in the previous June 2018 counts, are needed for the added study intersection at Hudson Street and Madison Avenue (see Task 5). 4. 2018 Traffic Counts: Additional traffic counts were conducted at the following seven study intersections (in addition to the original eight study intersections to include four of the newly requested intersections listed in Task 5) on one weekday and two weekend days in late May and early June in 2018 while school was still in session. • Valota Road/ Vera Avenue • Valota Road/ National Guard Driveway • Iris Street/ Jefferson Avenue • Hawes Street/ Jefferson Avenue • Hawes Street/ Madison Avenue • Roosevelt Avenue/ Hudson Street • Roosevelt Avenue/ King Street The cost for the completed counts, which were outside of the original scope of work, is included in this Amendment.
