2. CITY may terminate this agreement as follow: <br /> a. In the event that SHD does not provide funding as identified herein; <br /> b. CITY may decline such funding for any reason; <br /> c. CITY determines that it is unable to hire qualified personnel within the funding amounts <br /> secured through this Agreement; <br /> d. CITY and RCSD are unable to come to agreement regarding the terms of the program <br /> that the City intends to provide with SHD funds. <br /> 3. In the event that any of the program partners described herein (SHD, CITY, or RCSD) <br /> discontinue participation in the program described herein, the obligations of SHD and CITY to <br /> perform under this Agreement automatically terminate. <br /> 4. If this Agreement is terminated during any grant cycle, CITY shall return any unspent grant <br /> funds to SHD. <br /> IV. Goals and Mutual Objectives <br /> Understanding these limitations, for Year 5 of the SHD granting funding, these are the goals and <br /> objectives: <br /> Goal: To establish active, healthy lifestyles, and contribute to the social-emotional development of youth in <br /> Redwood City School District <br /> Objective 1 - Program Delivery: CITY will conduct the PE+ program at the 5 schools listed below during <br /> the 2016-17 academic year. If opportunity presents itself to expand to other schools during this grants <br /> cycle, an amendment to this agreement will be made. PE+ Partners will continue to seek financial <br /> contributions from school sites and additional revenue sources and seek to expand the PE+ program into <br /> additional schools and venues provided additional resources are obtained. <br /> The Program is based on the following parameters: <br /> • 176 school days in the year <br /> O 152 days of PE+ "full program" implementation that includes PE curriculum instruction two days per <br /> week for each class grades K-5 by up to four total coaches per school (two coaches per class) and <br /> recess/lunch support five days per week with a minimum of 2 coaches. <br /> • 28 days of "recess/lunch support only" provided first two weeks of school, and two weeks following <br /> the end of the "full program."
