<br />Reports: <br /> <br />Planning Commission Report, 5/20/91 <br /> <br />Ken Rolandelli, Chairperson of the Historic Resource Advisory Committee <br />presented slides of the four nominees for addition to the designation of <br />historic landmarks in Redwood City. Recommendation to designate all four <br />structures as Redwood City historic landmarks since all four meet the criteria <br />as described in the ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor La Berge declared public hearing open at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Joseph Rodden, 513 Hillside Road, Redwood City, Realtor for owners of 302 <br />Orchard Avenue, "The Frederick Henshaw Hunting Lodge". On behalf of owners Mr. <br />Rodden is requesting that committee postpone the decision until owner finds a <br />buyer who is looking for historic property. <br /> <br />Gladys Woodhams, 1018 Main Street, Redwood City, member of Historic Resource <br />Advisory Committee, addressed the importance of this house to Redwood City as <br />part of its historic inventory. <br /> <br />MIS: GreenalchlClaire to close public hearing. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote and hearing was closed at 8:28 p.m. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-102 <br /> <br />MIS: MurraylClaire to approve designating all four structures as historic <br />1 andmarks. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Bury requested voting on the Henshaw Hunting Lodge property in <br />a separate action from the other three. <br /> <br />Motion withdrawn <br /> <br />Title Read: <br /> <br />MIS MurraylClaire <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11524 DESIGNATING 226 EDGEWOOD ROAD, THE HENRY MARTENS HOME, 743 <br />ELM STREET, THE HANSON RESIDENCE, AND 610 EDGEWOOD ROAD, THE WILLIAMS <br />RESIDENCE, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, AS HISTORIC LANDMARKS (202-04) <br /> <br />Adopted by unanimous roll call vote <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Bury thanked the Historic Advisory Committee for providing <br />information and offering a mechanism of preserving quality property. The <br />Henshaw Hunting Lodge property is unique and not necessarily a residence.
