ATTY/ORD.437/ORDINANCE ADOPDTING & AMENDING ZA – LEVEL OF REVIEW <br />REV: 11-18-16 VR <br />Page 26 of 28 <br />district, the Zoning Administrator shall also consider the following factors: {Interpretation for Land Uses!!!!!} 1. Effect upon the public health, safety, and general welfare of the neighborhood involved and the City at large; 2. Effect upon traffic conditions; 3. Effect upon the orderly development of the area in question and the City at large in regard to the general planning of the whole community. [Moved to 41.13(Interpretations)] C. If any provision of this ordinance conflicts or is inconsistent with any other provision of this ordinance, or of any other ordinance or law, that provision which imposes the higher degree or greater amount of regulation or control regarding the same or similar subject matter shall govern. [Moved to 1.8B (Relationship to Other Regulations)] D. Diagrams, figures and other graphics included in this Title are provided for illustrative purposes only. Where there are any perceived conflicts between such diagrams and figures and the accompanying text, the text shall control and apply. [Moved to 1.8C (Relationship to Other Regulations)] 51.2 - Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect any other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. [Moved to 1.9 (Severability)] 51.3 - Repeals. A. Ordinance No. 600, enTitled "An Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, California. Adopting a Zoning or District Plan for said City by Establishing Various Districts in said City within which certain regulations shall be in Effect, Relating to the Uses of Land and Buildings; Height Limits of Buildings and Yards and Other Open Spaces about Buildings; Requiring that Certain Permits shall be secured for Certain of such Buildings and Uses; Defining Certain Terms used Herein; and Specifying the Procedure for the Amendment and Prescribing Penalties for the Violation, of any of the Provisions Herein; Repealing all other Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances in Conflict Therewith," adopted March 22, 1948, as amended to date, is hereby repealed. B. The repeal of Ordinance No. 600 shall not be construed as abating any actions now pending under or by virtue of such ordinance or as discontinuance, abating, modifying, or altering any penalty accruing or to accrue or as affecting the liability of any person, firm, or corporation or as waiving any right of the municipality under any section or provision existing at the time of the passage of this ordinance.
