EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant will perform the following scope of work for design professional services exercising the same degree of care, skill, and diligence as is ordinarily possessed and exercised by professionals providing similar services, currently practicing , under similar circumstances. However, unless otherwise expressly stated below or in Consultants work product, in performing this work, Consultant is not assessing the implications that its recommendations may have on the safety of pedestrians, drivers, or bicyclists. Such assessment falls outside the scope of this Agreement and will be performed as the City implements the Plan . The following outlines the details of the Scope of Work, which includes (A) Project Management, (B) Outreach, (C) Existing Conditions, (D) Performance Monitoring Program, (E) Transportation Engineering Standards, (F) Transportation Demand Management Strategy, (G) Projects and Programs and (H) Draft and Final Plan. TASK A: PROJECT MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATION / MEETINGS Consultant will coordinate with the City on a bi-weekly basis to ensure the project scope, schedule, and budget are effectively managed . Consultant will meet with the City's Project Manager in Redwood City at least monthly during critical project execution periods. Total numbers of assumed project meetings are detailed in the project budget and include meetings related to: • Project team meetings with City Staff (10 meetings) • Meetings with Policy Advisory Committee, project stakeholders or other agency staff (4 meetings) • Planning Commission/City Council meetings/hearings (2 meetings) As part of our project management, Consultant will prepare monthly progress reports summarizing tasks completed during the previous month . This task includes: • Project Management and Coordination with City Staff • Project Initiation and Scoping • Monthly Progress Reporting, Timeline & Schedule Management, and Invoicing • QA/QC of Project Deliverables • Electronic Submittal of All Deliverables (unless otherwise noted ) ATTY/AGR/2016.308/FEHR & PEERS CITYWIDE TRANSPORTATION PLAN REV: 11-03-16 VR Page 9 of 26
