EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall provide sanitary sewer flow monitoring services as part of the City's <br /> annual flow monitoring program as described in more detail below. Services shall be <br /> provided at the twelve (12) sites listed below. <br /> Task Description <br /> Task 1 . Perform field reconnaissance and document review: <br /> Consultant shall review available plans and documents, and conduct field <br /> reconnaissance of the proposed flow monitoring sites identified by the City. The <br /> reconnaissance shall assess hydraulic conditions, manhole access, traffic <br /> control requirements, and safety issues for each site. No modifications to the <br /> proposed meter sites shall be made without prior review and approval by the <br /> City. <br /> Deliverable: Consultant shall submit documentation of site reconnaissance and <br /> final flow monitoring sites to the City by November 23, 2016. <br /> Task 2. Installation / Calibration / Maintenance / Removal of Flow Monitors: <br /> Consultant shall install twelve (12) flow meters and two (2) rain gauges for a <br /> period of sixty (60) days starting no later than December 5, 2016, with an option <br /> to extend the monitoring on a weekly basis up to one additional month. The <br /> flow meters will be area-velocity type capable of measuring flows and flow <br /> depths under surcharge conditions. Pipe diameters will range from <br /> approximately 8 to 24 inches. Rain gauges will be tipping bucket type capable <br /> of recording to 0.01 inches. The flow monitoring locations are listed as follows: <br /> • Meter 1 : ROOSEVELT AVENUE AND VIRGINIA AVENUE (15-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 2: ROOSEVELT AVENUE AND JUNIPERO AVENUE (21 -inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 3: ROOSEVELT AVENUE AND HUDSON STREET (21 -inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 4: ROOSEVELT AVENUE (BETWEEN HUDSON STREET AND GRAND STREET) <br /> (8-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 5: GLENWOOD AVENUE (NEAR CANYON LANE) (8-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 6: LAKEVIEW WAY (6-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 7: PALM AVENUE AND KENTFIELD AVENUE (10-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 8: PALM AVENUE AND HUDSON (8-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 9: PALM AVENUE AND HUDSON (10-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 10: POPLAR AVENUE AND HESS ROAD (12-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 11 : WOODSIDE ROAD AND KENTUCKY STREET (8-inch diameter) <br /> • Meter 12: WOODSIDE ROAD AND BONITA AVENUE (10-inch diameter) <br /> Page 9 of 11 <br /> REV: 11-14-16 RL <br /> ATTY/AGR.2016.319N & A Consulting Engineers, Inc. <br />
