<br />Report: <br /> <br />Community Development Director, June 4, 1991 <br /> <br />Community Development Director Pawloski presented the staff report. <br /> <br />In response to Council Members questions, City Manager Smith described <br />developers discussion and rejection of the suggestion to use these fees to <br />fund a community center in Redwood Shores, although there was an <br />understanding and a desire to work together on this issue. City Manager <br />Smith also advised these fees were created to cap bond fees and can be <br />changed annually. <br /> <br />Councilman Murray expressed concern regarding the lack of intention to <br />build promised public facilities in Redwood Shores, describing use of <br />facilities fees as the best financing available. <br /> <br />Mayor La Berge declared the Public Hearing open at 9:29 p.m. and invited <br />anyone who wished to speak to please do so. No one wished to speak. <br /> <br />MIS: StangellMurray to close the Public Hearing. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote and Hearing closed at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Title read. <br /> <br />M/S: <br /> <br />Murray/Stangel. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE APPROVING AMENDED RATE SCHEDULE FOR FACILITIES CHARGES <br />ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT RELATING TO REDWOOD CITY <br />GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 (REDWOOD SHORES PROPERTIES) <br /> <br />First reading approved by unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />6. Executive Employment Recruitment Services Agreement (702-02) <br /> <br />MIS: Stangel/Greenalch to adopt the resolution and establish a not to <br />exceed amount of $13,500 for consultant services and $6,500 for expenses. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11572 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />CONSULTING SERVICES RELATED TO RECRUITMENT OF A CITY MANAGER (NORMAN ROBERTS <br />& ASSOCIATES, INC.) <br /> <br />Adopted as amended by unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />B. Councilman Greenalch requested City Attorney to strengthen city ordinance <br />now prohibiting consumption of alcoholic beverages in Redwood City parks to <br />include prohibiting possession of alcoholic beverages as well.
