Presentation of Certificates of Historic Recognition to four properties <br />in Redwood City designated by the City Council (202-04) <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Bury presented Certificates of Historic Recognition to Daniel and <br />Anna Flynn, owners of 226 Edgewood Road, and Jack and Nancy Riewerts, <br />tenants of 743 Elm Street, representing owner, Iris Schencke. Mr. and Mrs. <br />George Spillane of 610 Edgewood Road and Mr. and Mrs. George Wood of 302 <br />Orchard Avenue were unable to attend. <br /> <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />B. Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the <br />Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada <br />and Certificate of Award for Outstanding Financial Reporting from the <br />California Society of Municipal Finance Officers presented to Finance <br />Director Gul Ramchandani <br /> <br />Mayor La Berge presented the two financial reporting awards to Finance <br />Director Ramchandani who thanked his staff for their work and thanked the <br />Counci 1. <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />William Stewart, 218 G Street, Redwood City, representing Gail Leddy and <br />other members of the Centennial Homeowners Association, submitted a <br />petition with 200 names requesting that San Carlos Airport reestablishes <br />flight patterns in place before October 1990, and reminded Council of <br />the scheduled August 21, 1991 meeting with the Council Subcommittee. <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />4.
