Gerald Letzring, 752 Sapphire, Redwood City, thanked Council for their <br />support in the renovation of Kiwanis's/Mitchell field and reminded <br />Council that the original project included improved rest rooms and <br />added storage space and a snack bar. Mr. Letzring advised that the <br />cost for field improvements was lower than anticipated and asked that <br />the savings be used to construct the remaining three items. Council <br />Members spoke in favor of maintaining the City's parks and upgrading <br />where possible, and referred this item to the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Department and the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission.
