6.1.A. - Page 18 <br />C. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The scope of engineering services described herein is the minimum necessary to <br />meet the City's objectives. The consultant is expected to expand on the scope by <br />incorporating their expertise and proposed method of approach. <br />The Consultant shall perform and provide the following: <br />Task 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />Task 1.1 — Management <br />Wood Rodgers will provide the project management and coordination for the <br />Team necessary to provide design services for the 2017 Redwood Creek <br />Improvement Project (Project) for the City of Redwood City (City). The Project <br />Manager will be in direct coordination with the City's project manager and staff to <br />ensure proper scheduling of reviews, budget controls, invoice preparation and <br />general coordination. The total duration of this task is anticipated to be 12 <br />months. <br />Task 1.2 — Quality Assurance <br />A Quality Control Plan will be prepared to guide Quality Control on the Project. It <br />is noted Wood Rodgers intends to use its subconsultants to provide independent <br />quality control of Wood Rodgers work products (and vice -versa). The purpose of <br />this subtask is to provide documented quality control and quality assurance <br />procedures for design. Quality Assurance will be provided internally by each <br />team producing the project deliverables. Quality Control will be provided <br />externally by designated independent quality control teams. <br />At the completion of each deliverable production, draft documents will be <br />submitted to the independent Quality Control team. The comments and <br />responses will be documented, provided to the Project Manager and the City for <br />their review and comment. Final work and quality control plan documents <br />incorporating all City comments will be submitted as part of the deliverable. <br />Task 1.3 — Meetings <br />The Wood Rodgers Team will attend and participate in the Kick -Off Meeting and <br />up to seven (7) Project Meetings. It is assumed that the Project Manager and the <br />Designer (two people) will attend each meeting. Project Management will <br />provide project coordination; communicate issues with the City; set up the <br />project, including the development of the Consultant's project work plan; prepare <br />a project schedule as well as monitor and update the schedule, track, and report <br />job progress. Project Management will coordinate all efforts to organize a <br />consistent set of design documents for the affected structures and channels of <br />the Project.
