Communication from the Tobacco Education Coalition (101-03) <br /> <br />REPORT: <br /> <br />Letter from the Tobacco Education Coalition, November 5, 1991 <br /> <br />Councilman Greenalch asked that consideration of revised no smoking <br />guidelines be referred to the Council Legislative Committee. <br /> <br />CONSENSUS: It was determined by Mayor La Berge that it was the consensus of <br />the Council to refer this item to the Legislative Committee. <br />MEMO 12/3/91 <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />C. San Mateo Times Winter Shelter Project Fund (101-03) <br /> <br />REPORT: <br /> <br />Councilman Greenalch, November 26, 1991 <br /> <br />Councilman Greenalch advised that last year Council had approved an <br />expenditure of $2,000 to the Shelter and requested a similar donation be <br />made this year. <br /> <br />M/S: GREENALCH/BURY TO APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF $2,000 TO THE SAN MATEO <br />TIMES WINTER SHELTER PROJECT FUND. <br />CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-268 <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />D. Councilman Greenalch requested this item, the Peninsula Times Tribune <br />Holiday Fund, be removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />E. Councilman Murray reported on the Ad Hoc Airport Noise Committee meeting on <br />November 20, 1991 with Supervisor Griffin and San Carlos Airport staff. <br />Councilman Murray described the exchange of ideas and practical suggestions <br />made by the fixed base operators. Another working meeting will take place <br />in January, with a public meeting scheduled for March. Councilman Bury applauded the wonderful production of the Wizard of Oz now <br />playing at the Fox Theatre and encouraged everyone to go see it. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />G. Mayor La Berge reported on the positive results of the October 19th <br />Conference on Children.
