220 <br />Councilman Petersen moved to adopt ORDINANCE N0. 1130.50 ADDING SECTION 60.2.21 TO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING PROPERTY IN THE <br />VICINITY OF 1657 OXFORD STREET (Carl H. and Lucile Rosene) seconded by Councilman <br />Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call vote. <br />Councilman Keekley moved to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 1130.51 ADDING SECTION 60.2.20 TO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING PROPERTY IN THE <br />VICINITY OF LUCERNE AVENUE, WOODSIDE ROAD (Rudy Wegman-Nursery) seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Bury and carried unanimously on roll call vote. <br />Application for Closing -Out Sale, Vikingland, 812 Middlefield Road, presented for <br />consideration. Council advised owner states he has been called back to Denmark <br />for business reasons and must, therefore, close the business. Applicant made <br />request for sixty day sale permit, Staff recommending permit be granted for thirty <br />days only because of the small inventory. <br />Councilman Bury moved to grant Sale Permit for 30 days as recommended by Staff. <br />Councilman Henderson questioned restricting sale period for thirty days and then <br />having to grant additional time later if period not sufficient, and would prefer <br />to grant sufficient time in the first instance. Councilman Bury stated from his <br />own inspection of these premises he felt confident sale could be completed in thirty <br />days. Motion seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #66-145) <br />CLAIMS: (1) Shirley C. Turner on behalf of Richard James Clark, a minor, for personal <br />injuries alleged to have been caused at Municipal Marina; (2) Laura Jean Sowdon for <br />personal injuries alleged to have been caused by City -owned vehicle; (3) Luis <br />Kurz for personal injuries.and property damages alleged to have been caused by <br />City owned vehicle, denied and referred to insurance carrier on motion of Council- <br />man Rosselli, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #66-149A, <br />#66-149B, #66-1490) <br />Councilman Keckley moved to nominate Joe Tanouye to the Architectural Committee, <br />seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to waive the policy established under Resolution No. <br />4162 regarding consecutive terms of Board Members forpurpose of nominating Charles <br />Randlett for another term on the Planning Commission, seconded by Councilman <br />Rosselli and carried. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to nominate Bill Oeser for the Planning Commission, <br />seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. <br />Councilman Henderson moved to nominate Bill Rockas to the Board of Library Trustees, <br />seconded by Councilman Bury and carried. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to n6minate Andrew Spinas to the Board of Library Trustees, <br />seconded by Councilman Bury and carried. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to close nominations and unanimous ballot be cast for <br />appointment of nominees to Commissions and Boards as stated, seconded by Councilman <br />Bury and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #66-150) <br />CLAIMS, Nos. 56819 to 57044, totaling $2,815,088.65 were approved on motion of Coun- <br />cilman Rosselli, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. <br />
