(Memo 11/29/66) Councilman Bury requested permission to be absent from City to attend National League of Cities in Nevada, from 12/3/66 to 12/7/66. Councilman Henderson moved to grant permission requested by Councilman Bury, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #66-145) Councilman Keckley called Council's attention to the importance of the adjourned meeting called for December 20th for a presentation to be given to City by the Regional Planning Committee on park and open space program, and asking that Coun- cil members secure additional copies of the report from him if copies which had been previously submitted were not available to them for use at this meeting. Communication from City of Albany regarding a recommen- dation they wished referred to Goals and Organization Committee of ABAG. Notice from Assembly Interim Committee of hearing to be held December 12 and 13, 1966, on subjects of Special District Assessors and District Securities Commission review law, 1965, in State Building, Room 2198, S. F. Notice from Peninsula Division of League of California Cities meeting to be held Dec. 15, 1966 at The Leopard, 140 Front Street, S. F. Councilman Rosselli requested Staff review and make recommendation for revision of closing out sales ordinance. City Manager advised this matter had already been discussed with City Attorney and recommendation would be made to Council. (Memo 11/29/66) Councilman Rosselli moved to adjourn the meeting to 7:30 p.m., December 1, 1966, Veterans Memorial Building, by adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 5209 COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF SAM Y.
