Motion carried on roll <br />call vote. <br />DAMAGE CLAIMS: (1) Mr. & Mrs. Harry M. Hanson, 1219 Arguello Street, alleging damages <br />for loss of income on their income property due to street construction period on <br />Whipple Avenue; (2) Mrs. D. K. Sherman alleging property damages, on behalf of a <br />minor, by City Employee, denied and referred to insurance carrier on motion of <br />Councilman Petersen, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. (MINUTE ORDER <br />#66-264 A & B) <br />— ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, Nos, 59078 to 59271 inclusive, totaling $405,322.58, were approved <br />on motion of Councilman Henderson, seconded by Councilman Bury and carried. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: previously submitted to Council. <br />Notification from County Supervisor Jean Fassler of Post- <br />master General's recent order regarding door-to-door delivery <br />of mail, and attaching further informational material on this <br />subject. <br />Communication from John Summerskill, President of San Francisco <br />State College, conveying appreciation for City Staff's contri- <br />bution to training program of Venezuelan Municipal Specialists <br />during their visit in our City and enclosing check for $250.00 <br />from their Budget as honorarium for this program to be applied <br />to any purpose deemed appropriate. <br />Mayor Herkner stated for benefit of those present Redwood City had been one of <br />three cities in the Bay area which had been picked for participation in this <br />program. <br />Mayor Herkner advised a report had been made by Council's representatives of ABAG <br />Special General Assembly Meeting held on December 16th and asked whether it should <br />be read or submitted to Council. City Clerk read the report in full, and Council- <br />man Rosselli asked that copies be made for Council. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved that Council adjourn to an adjourned meeting for purpose of <br />discussion of personnel in relation to salaries, seconded by Councilman Henderson <br />and carried. M. <br />Mayor Herkner called the reconvened regular meeting to order at 11:10 p.m., all Council <br />members being noted present as before. <br />Mayor Herkner reported Council had accepted recommendations concerning salary adjust- <br />ments and increases as recommended by Personnel Bard, Council Committee and Staff. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to approve the recommendations made in the adjourned regular <br />meeting concerning salaries of Council appointees, and insert them in the proposed <br />salary ordinance as follows: <br />
