410 <br />Councilman Bury questioned whether Staff investigation had been made of CATV appli- <br />cations to be presented and if they covered type desired. City Manager advised <br />applications had been thoroughly reviewed and did cover provisions of the Ordinance. <br />Councilman Henderson commented on lack of street sign to properly identify Broadway at <br />its intersection with Woodside Expressway and asked this be checked for a remedy. <br />(Memo 1/10/67) <br />Councilman Bury acknowledged receipt of report made by Mayor Herkner regarding status <br />of new Post Office possibilities in Redwood City, but again remarked on his previous <br />recommendation for relocation of sidewalk mail deposit box at Bradford, and the one <br />located in front of the Library he felt to be a traffic hazard. <br />City Manager advised this point had been considered by the Traffic Bureau and <br />relocation recommended of the mail box on Jefferson, but would check to see if <br />other mail box relocation had been considered and would report back in 2 weeks. <br />(Memo 1/10/67) <br />Councilman Rosselli expressed his interest in report submitted on Union Cemetery <br />being considered as a historical site and suggested Mayor Herkner appoint Council- <br />man Granger to attend the next meeting of the Historical Site Committee. Mayor <br />Herkner appointed Councilmanf Granger to attend next meeting of this Committee if <br />attendance deemed necessary. (Memo 1/10/67) <br />Councilman Keckley questioned Staff report submitted concerning plaque commemorating <br />Veterans Memorial Building and felt Staff should make a recommendation for type of <br />plaque and rededication plans for the building. Councilman Granger stated this <br />should be referred to Veterans Memorial Commission and recommendation made by <br />them. Petersen, John S. Rosselli <br />Mayor Sidney D. Herkner, and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Also noted present were <br />City Manager Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney Richard E. Gardella, Assistant <br />City Manager Henry V. Burget, Police Chief Wm. Faulstich, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, <br />Planning Director Ken Schroeter, Director of Public Works J. Louis Scherer, <br />Deputy Director of Public Works Warren Mitchell, Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference, <br />Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle. <br />Councilman Henderson moved to approve Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of <br />December 19, 1966 (7:00 p.m.); Minutes of Regular Meeting of December 19, 1966 <br />(8:00 p.m.); Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of December 19, 1966 (9:50 p.m.) <br />Minutes of Adjourned Regular meeting of December 20, 1966 (Veterans Memorial <br />Building) as mailed, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON APPEAL of Land Development and Investment Company, land owner, from <br />denial by the Planning Commission of one segment of the original application of <br />the Harker Development Company for amendment to the Zoning Map to rezone three <br />land segments, bounded by Broadway, Woodside Expressway, Bay Road, and the South- <br />ern Pacific Railroad spur, being portion from IP to Ir -A (Industrial Restricted <br />Arthitectural Control) District, declared open and affidavit of publication and <br />mailing ordered filed. <br />
