Councilman Bury asked that a report on the Farm Hill slide area be on Council's <br />agenda as soon as possible, (Memo 7/11/67) <br />Communication from Doug Mcrov, Youth Director of the First <br />Methodist Church, stating their desire to bring a group of <br />youths to a Council meeting as part of their seminar program <br />for high school students to discover community problems, <br />needs, and actions in order to seek ways for youth to respond. <br />He also asked that a Council member meet with them after such <br />an attendance in the near future. <br />Councilman Petersen moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Bury and carried. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P. M. <br />HELEN C. MOORE, City Clerk <br />MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br />FOR GID .1-64 <br />July 17, 1967 10:00 A. M. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Herkner at 10:00 A. M. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilman Floyd D. Granger, Mary W. <br />Henderson, Herbert G. Petersen, Mayor Sidney D. Herkner and Deputy City Clerk <br />Marian McCrindle.. Councilmen Robert H. Bury, Paul C. Keckley and John H. Rosselli <br />noted absent. Also noted present were City Manager Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney <br />Richard E. Gardella, Auditor -Assessor Jack Ference (also Assessor for the District) <br />and Senior Stenographer Sandra Penticuff. <br />Also noted present was Mr. Charles Gates, of Marshall & Stevens, Inc., City's <br />Appraisal Consultants for GID 1-64, <br />Mayor Herkner announced that meeting was being held by the Redwood City Council as <br />the Board of Equalization for General Improvement District 1-64 for the purpose of <br />equalizing assessments of property of the District Assessment Roll for fiscal year <br />1967-68 as completed and delivered to the City Auditor -Assessor, Affidavit of <br />publication of notice of meeting of date and time ordered filed, <br />Deputy City Clerk reported there had been no applications for reduction of assessments <br />received to date. <br />In view of the fact no applications for reduction of assessments had been received, <br />Councilman Petersen moved to declare the Assessment Roll for General Improvement <br />District No. 1-64 equalized as submitted, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />(MINUTE ORDER #67-153) <br />There being no further discussion, Councilman Granger moved to adjourn the meeting, <br />seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried.
