(MINUTE ORDER #67-23) <br />The public was again urged to submit all questions to the Council or City Manager <br />in advance, so that answers could be researched prior to the 28th. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5272 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR THE FURNISHING OF LIQUID CHLORINE FOR THE PERIOD ENDING FEBRUARY 29, 1968; <br />AND, AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Granger. On <br />question, City Manager advised Council present price is $109.50 per ton by <br />buying 14 ton batches, but he understood current market price had risen to <br />some extent. Motion carried on roll call vote. <br />REPORT OF BID OPENING, Comfort Station for Stulsaft Park. The following bid was <br />received: <br />Super Secur Comfort Station, Burlingame $4,139.20 <br />Staff recommended acceptance of the bid, $10,000 having been budgeted for this <br />purpose. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5273 AWARDING CONTRACT FUR <br />FURNISHING OF ONE PRE -FABRICATED METAL COMFORT STATION TO BE INSTALLED IN STUL- <br />SAFT PARK, seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried on roll call vote. <br />Five minute recess called at 9:30 p.m. by Mayor Herkner. <br />CATV License applications consideration.
