<br />Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5649 ESTABLISHING ROUTES OF
<br />TRAVEL, HOURS. OF OPERATION AND RATES OF CHARGE FOR THE MUNICIPAL TRANSIT
<br />SYSTEM, seconded by Councilman Rosselli.
<br />Councilman Henderson moved to amend the Resolution proposed to reduce the
<br />fares for students through high school to $.10 instead of the proposed $.15.
<br />Motion lost for lack of a second.
<br />Motion to adopt Resolution as stated carried unanimously on roll call vote,
<br />Councilman Bury being noted absent.
<br />Councilman Granger moved to introduce Ordinance appropriating $2,306 from the
<br />Special Deposits Fund to the Redwood City Police Youth Club to be used for
<br />youth activities of a general benefit to the children of the City of Redwood
<br />City, seconded by Councilman Rosselli. Staff reported this amount was re-
<br />ceived from the August 1967 Forty-niner Football Scrimmage at Sequoia Field
<br />and ordinance was necessary to appropriate the funds. It was also reported
<br />that the Recreation Director and Deputy Police Chief had recommended that
<br />this year's receipts should be given to the Police Youth Club for expenditure
<br />and that prior to payment being made, City Manager be authorized to execute
<br />an agreement on behalf of City with the Police Youth Club covering expenditure
<br />of the funds. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5650 APPROVING AND AUTHOR-
<br />IZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH REDWOOD CITY POLICE YOUTH CLUB RELATING TO
<br />EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried on roll call
<br />vote, Councilman Bury being noted absent.
<br />AWARD OF BIDS, Brass Fittings, AWWA. Staff report stated this was the last Council
<br />Meeting at which this bid might be awarded since the 30 days allowed in the
<br />contract documents would expire March 27th, 1968. Staff recommended that
<br />the following schedule of vendors of the numbered low bid items be awarded,
<br />subject to testing for conformance with contract specifications:
