Motion lost on roll call vote, Councilmen Bury, <br />Granger, Petersen, Rosselli and Mayor Herkner voting no, Councilmen Henderson <br />and Keckley voting yes. <br />Councilman Rosselli asked Council's approval of his attendance as an alternate com- <br />mittee member on Bay Area Transportation Committee (BATS) for a meeting to be <br />held Thursday, February 8, 1968, at Claremont Hotel, Berkeley, and permission <br />also to attend Peninsula Division, League of California Cities dinner meeting <br />on Thursday, February 15, 1968, in San Jose. <br />Councilman Henderson moved to approve Councilman Rosselli's attendance at <br />meetings as stated, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. City Clerk <br />asked that other Council members advise of their intentions to attend the <br />League of California Cities, Peninsula Division, on February 15, 1968. Council- <br />men Bury, Keckley, Petersen, and Rosselli indicated they would attend this meet- <br />ing and asked that reservations be made. Motion to approve advance payment for <br />these reservations was made by Councilman Keckley, seconded by Councilman Bury <br />and carried. <br />Councilman Henderson requested permission to attend ABAG meeting, Berkeley, as <br />a Council alternate, February 23, 1968. Mayor Herkner also requested permission <br />to attend this same meeting. Councilman Bury moved to approve both Pequests, <br />seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #68-41) <br />Councilman Keckley moved to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 1346 AMENDING SECTIONS 11 AND 16 OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1286, ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY (Recreation Center Supervisor) seconded by Councilman Bury and carried on <br />roll call vote. <br />DAMAGE CLAIMS: (1) J.W. Gerwin, 1925 Kentucky Street, for property damages alleged <br />to have been caused by City failing to properly cover a storm drain, denied and <br />referred to insurance carrier on motion of Councilman Rosselli, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #68-42-B) <br />(2) Rita Stevens, on behalf of James D. Stevens, a minor, for permission to <br />file a late claim on claim for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by <br />a City Employee, was denied permission for late filing on motion of Councilman <br />Petersen, seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried.
